CELINE, the high-end luxury brand, following the trail of change, redesign the London Mount Street concept store.
It is not a surprise that Hedi Slimane wants to break with the old CELINE aesthetics, but this time the French designer has started from the foundations: renovating the all interiors of the stores.
We had a little preview of the new aesthetics with the one in Madison Avenue and the London one in Bond Street, but now we can definitely admire the modern and bold vision of Hedi Slimane coming to life in the CELINE store in Mount street opening up it’s doors with a new soul.
The space is a perfect fusion of Brutalist minimalism and Scandinavian design, concrete, rocks and wood are perfectly blended together with glass, metal and mirrors: raw nature is meeting luxury.
For Hedi Slimane art is not only an inspiration but an integral part of the entire CELINE experience.
Likewise the CELINE store in Mount street is not just a retailer shop but thanks to the CELINE Art Project becomes an art gallery where works of art by emerging artists such as David Jablonowski, Fay Ray and Tiril Hasselknippe, and a specially commissioned artwork by Lukas Geronimas, are presented.
