Burberry, with a land art operation, has brought its essence to South Korea to guarantee visitors a unique experience between fashion and nature.
Imagines Landscape
The Imagines Landscape, the name of the property, is located on Jeju’s island, at the foot of Mount Hallasan and is completely covered with mirrors which reflect the surrounding greenery. The stepped structure perfectly embodies the union that Burberry makes between nature and technology, past and future.
Within this “metallic” pop-up, Burberry has chosen to screen three films by three different artists: Maotik, Cao Yuxi and Lia Jiayu. The interactive screens are the protagonists of the interior spaces, obviously together with the clothes of the Anglo-Saxon brand.
The latter has created a partnership with Tik-Tok, which guarantees an even more immersive digital experience, using augmented reality.
Through this majestic structure, located in the middle of nature, Burberry invites people to rediscover, together with nature, the sense of curiosity and exploration; and what better adventure than with the trench coats or waterproof capes of the historic brand?
For visitors more reluctant to explore, Burberry has created a Thomas’s Cafe that incorporates the aesthetic traits of the British brand and offers the goodness of local cuisine.
Burberry has announced that it is part of an island conservation program in partnership with the non-profit Jeju Olle Foundation. In addition, the brand will strive to reduce the environmental impact of the facility’s waste disposal.
