The duo Asics and Vivienne Westwood return once again to collaborate creating together GEL-Kayano 27 LTX sneakers.
The two brands combine sport and extravagance in a provocative style running shoe.
This collab offers us a sock-like structure footwear, with lateral zip, overlaid with a semi-translucent TPU material inspired by Vivienne Westwood‘s archive latex stockings. The FLYTEFOAM™ technology is not lacking in the midsole, ensuring advanced shock absorption and optimal rebound, coupled with an elastic and flexible rubber sole. It is no coincidence, in fact, that Asics‘ GEL-Kayano running series was created precisely to give life to a long-distance running shoe, designed for the necessary support and durability. This has ensured that these sneakers remained relevant for decades, thanks to their heritage of comfort, technology and innovation, becoming one of the most popular lines among runners and extending their use beyond the sports scene.
The technical look and the sporty and futuristic aesthetics of Asics blend perfectly with the punk influence and the explosive style of Vivienne Westwood that above all stands out thanks to the use of latex.
Durability, functionality, comfort and design innovation are the key features of this collaborative project.
Exclusively available in lilac, black and orange, the limited edition Asics x Vivienne Westwood GEL-Kayano 27 LTX has been launched today, Saturday 20 March on asics.com, viviennewestwood.com and at selected retailers.
