AIR MAX “WAVE”: Nike X Patta

Finally Nike and Patta have announced the release date of the Air Max “Wave”, the result of their collaboration.

The sneaker will be released tomorrow, October 8, 2021, on the Patta x Nike online page created for the release, but from October 15 they will be officially available in different stores.

For their seventh collaboration, Patta and Nike have created 4 short films directed by Mahaneela, an emerging English director and the first is already available online!

Speaking of the protagonist of this collab, the Nike Air Max 1 “Wave”, let’s see what is innovative about it.

The silhouette of the shoe is not totally upset, on the contrary we see the touch of Patta in two main elements: the tongue and the mudguard. On the first, there is no longer the Nike logo written in full in bold, but we have the Patta logo in italics.

As for the mudguard, however, the reason why the sneaker is called “Wave” is revealed: it exactly takes the shape of a wave with a small side Swoosh.

Together with the sneaker, available soon online at a price of 160 €, Patta and Nike will release a small collection of sportswear.
