Also in Italy arrived “Confirmed”, the Adidas app relaunched after a few years with more innovative functions than the previous one. Adidas’ CEOs have announced that in the app it will be possible to take part in numerous interviews dedicated to the big names in the world of sport and fashion, followed by articles, awards and a new product catalog.
As for the most anticipated sneaker releases, Adidas’s approach for now seems mostly identical to Nike’s historic SNKRS app.
A clue that seems to confirm this is the announcement of the new collaboration with Kanye West for a super exclusive restock of the YEEZY, that will be distributed to a few lucky consumers. In short, a selective process that following the release of other models, that over time would feed a second market with subordinate and equally large prices as for Nike.
It will be interesting to figure out if in the future Adidas will take a new marketing approach to make the much desired releases “less impractical” than SNKRS one for all the sneakerheads.
Anyway, stay tuned!
