After second release, Acne Studios is now back with the third chapter for its Repurposed collection. Built entirely with excess fabrics and materials, the capsule, already from the first season, aims to find eco-friendly and sustainable solutions through design and more. Focused on the idea of creating new pieces from pre-existing materials, it uses specific materials and treatments, produced in the place of origin to minimize the impact. The aim is to find creative expedients through experimentation to give new life to what already exists.
“Acne Studios was founded on design experimentation, and today we want to use our creativity to take positive steps towards becoming more mindful.” – that’s how Jonny Johansson, Creative Director of Acne Studios, introduces Repurposed.
This time, unlike previous releases, the Swedish brand has decided to present a genderless tie-dye collection with an outdoor and psychedelic aesthetic. The materials used are jersey, cotton, light and heavy nylon that together give life to technical and utilitarian garments.
Focused on environment, the genderless capsule transforms nylon fabrics from previous seasons using a tie-dye process with environmentally certified dyes.
The range includes parkas, shorts, shirts, caps and socks based on the theme of hiking.

The collection is available in selected stores and on acnestudios.com with prices ranging from €40 for socks up to €590 for parkas.
