Born as a technical fabric in 1969, GORE-TEX has become famous for its waterproofing and breathability, to the point of being used in high-profile collaborations for famous sportswear and streetwear brands. Yet there is one in particular that now prefers the material, launching creations with an attractive but also functional aesthetic, and that brand is Stussy. Following the 2020 collection, once again the Californian brand relies on fabric to end the winter season with a weather resistant capsule.
Composed of three items, the collection is colored with a “woody” Realtree MAX-5® print or in matt black. The main note is represented by the waterproof Wading Shell jacket, equipped with a wide range of pockets, zips and compartments of various sizes and for different uses. As a reminder of the branding, there is the small embroidered logo on the wrist of the left sleeve.
The last two pieces are: the Cargo Shell pants which, like all cargo models, have a comfortable fit on the thigh and then shrink at the ankle, allowing agility and freedom of movement and finally, the Storm Shell Hat, in other words the classic fisherman’s hat.
Observing the campaign, it is clear that the Stussy x Gore-Tex collaboration was conceived to explore the driest landscapes immersed in nature, to adapt to the wildest contexts, and to face every climatic storm. For all the wanderers of the world who love this kind of adventures or for those who are simply fans of Stussy, the collection will be available from 10.00 on March 19th on the online store
