Situated in the middle of Brera district, SHOE opens its first flagship store in Milan. The brand, with its over 500 multibrand stores located throughout the italian territory, includes collections for men, women and children.
The young designer from Forlì, Marco Samorè, founded the brand by canalizing his passion for art and sport into a comfortable and informal aesthetic, getting rid of any age and gender target. “SHOE was created to be a welcoming space where you can move freely, without constraints,” he says. “SHOE is for everyone, conveys a sense of inclusion and beauty without limits, through garments that encourage any body to feel good thanks to comfy fits and unisex designs”. His statements perfectly explain the manifesto: Inspired by Everyday People Led by Everyday Life.
Among the products proposed the classic jogger pants surely stands out. Interpreted in every season and proposed in a multitude of colors and styles, it is very easy to match them with hoodies, T-shirts, shirts and colorful accessories.
This new opening is an important step that adds to a project of growth in which the brand has invested in recent years. In addition to creating the unisex, minimalist and essential line and organic cotton T-shirts, SHOE is also following a path of environmental sustainability, investing in a sustainable route planting trees in partnership with Treedom. In addition, the packaging has been developed with 40% recycled plastic together with the down jackets and swim shorts made by 100% recycled plastic bottles featuring REPREVE technologies.
The attention to the environment will be even more thanks to an initiative aimed at recycling and reuse garments and fabrics. The new flagship store will be a key element because it will be used as a collection point. Rooted in the colours, codes and tradition of the brand, the space extends over two levels and presents itself as a dynamic and sensorial place, a synthesis of essential design and Italian heritage. The light, the dominant element, expands on an orderly and fluid atmosphere, enhancing the neutral and rough walls, the steel furniture elements and the bright pink details such as the large central bench and the dressing room.
To celebrate the new opening, SHOE has just released MILAN01, the first of a series of drops that will be available exclusively in-store and on weareshoe.com throughout the year. The capsule presents unisex T-shirts, hoodies and crew necks in black and white with the address of the store and the symbol PLUS on the back, which represents all the values of the brand: ethics, aesthetics, inclusivity and sustainability.
Make sure to visit the new store on your next Milan trip. It is open from Monday to Sunday in Corso Garibaldi 16.
