MONCLER X 1017 ALYX 9SM’s third collection

The third collaboration between Moncler and 1017 ALYX 9SM has arrived!

The 6 MONCLER 1017 ALYX 9SM collection consists mainly of outerwear and technical winter clothing. So we have the classic Moncler down jackets revisited by Mattew M. Williams who adds new details and lines.

The designer focuses heavily on the contrast between the opaque and the glossy of the nylon that covers the down jackets and on the details.

The co-founder of 1017 ALYX 9SM does not overturn the classic Moncler down jacket, but adds his own; the silhouette of the jackets is linear, almost square, superimposed on the hinges we find buckles, used by Mattew Williams for his Rollercoaster belt, and again we have fine metal chains incorporated in the down jackets.

The minimal-looking garments are actually very studied: the colors used are black, antique pink and white, shades that are enhanced by nylon satin, ultra-shiny nylon and cotton.

The collection consists of down jackets, leather trousers, sweatshirts, sweaters and accessories characterized by common elements: first of all the metal buckles identical to safety belts that are used as belts, as fasteners for down jackets or as individual accessories. Secondly, we find the chains that embellish some of the items in the collection.

The accessories ranging from classic wool caps with the Moncler logo to padded phone cases are also very interesting. There is also no shortage of accessories for our pets: Moncler has created vests and sweaters for dogs combined with leather leashes.
