AMBUSH reveals its fourth Dunk High collaboration for Nike shortly before the official launch, releasing the first images of the campaign starring Yoon and Megan The Stallion.
Yes, Yoon Ambush, creative director of his namesake brand and of Dior Homme jewels, appears on Instagram wearing his own creations aboard a white motorcycle with a futuristic style.
Inspired by the Japanese motorcycle subculture, the Asian designer has designed a unisex motorcycle suit that is as functional as it is sophisticated in style.
The neon pink suit with black trim and green inserts refers to the city of Tokyo which, with its bright lights at night, truly becomes a futuristic setting. The inspiration did not end there, in fact Yoon declares via Instagram that she has drawn a lot from the culture of Japanese anime.
Next to her, there can only be the rapper Megan The Stallion, who has declared several times, through interviews, shots inspired by the genre and musical texts, her love for anime and Japanese style.
Megan wears a neon pink top with the collection’s biker pants, all paired with the neon yellow Nike Dunk High, the same ones Yoon wears. The rapper also sports platinum blonde hair with black, green and pink streaks to complete the look.
The clothing line will be released alongside the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High sneakers on July 30, 2021 online on the Nike website, SNKRS, AMBUSH and at select retailers.
