Shibuya Chapter store is the latest to be part of the worldwide network. On Friday 9 July Stüssy thus opened the Store with an exclusive dedicated t-shirt.
Behind the design of the store hides the Perron-Roettinger studio which, with this last gem, completed the design direction of his Shanghai, Nagoya and Kyoto Chapter locations.
Based in Los Angeles and distinguished by its method of creating visual language within the design world, it’s a studio specializing in interior design, brand identity and printing. At the helm of the company are partners Willo Perron and Brian Roettinger who have defined a contemporary holistic approach to both strategy and problem solving through design.
With their magnificent work Willo and Brian take us inside a splendid oasis signed by Stüssy.
The facade, as you can see, is black, and, the interior design is defined by a bounty of industrial-yet-organic decor, including luscious plants, light oak paneling and straw sculptures, which complement wide-spanning mirrored walls and light-green-painted clothing racks.
