A$AP Rocky is not only one of the most famous rappers on the international music scene. When it comes to fashion, trends and clothing, it certainly doesn’t go unnoticed.
There have been numerous collaborations with eminent designers like J.W. Anderson and Raf Simons, as well as his accurate bold and underground style, which in the hype spotlight was resonant, particularly when the purpose of some exploits was to send a message. In short, without dwelling on it, we can say with certainty that the rapper born and raised in New York is now an established style icon. And, it’s no coincidence that the icing on the cake is her love of vintage fashion and aesthetics.
In fact, one of his latest style projects is a collaboration with Klarna, the Swedish company protagonist of the “Buy now, pay later” shopping system, which has enabled the possibility of paying one’s purchases in monthly installments on some fashion platforms. The rapper will assume the title of CEO for a day in order to launch an initiative on ‘sustainable’ and responsible online shopping and in the meantime has selected 38 men’s and women’s fashion pieces from the 90s/2000s, which will be constantly updated. His choices came from Farfetch as well as Vestiaire Collective’s e-Commerce platforms with brands like Garçons Comme, Maison Margiela, Chanel and Ann Deulemeester; and again, Yohji Yamamoto, Helmut Lang, Versace and Celine. There is also no shortage of exclusive second-hand garments on Vinted and Depop.
