Can’t you touch the “color Tiffany”?!
As reported by harpersbazaar.com, the chromatic analogies with the hue of the eggs of the American bird turdus migratorius, have meant that the Tiffany color was recognized over the decades also as blue “forget me not” or “robin’s egg” . And to those who entered the famous jewelry store asking to buy only the signature box, the founder always answered with a categorical no. “Tiffany has something in the shop that cannot be bought for any amount but can only be received as a gift: one of her boxes”: so stated the founder of the brand in 1906 in an interview with the New York Sun.
“We present the new company color”
The high-end jewelry house jokingly made fun of us by devising a social joke that went viral in no time. Tiffany’s April Fool has managed to make us believe that the iconic blue had been replaced with a shade of yellow called #TiffanyYellow.
Yes, today the Tiffany yellow experience has become surprisingly real, and was announced by wwd.com.
Where is it? In California, in Beverly Hills. When? Last weekend.
The Tiffany boutique which is based on the very popular Rodeo Drive has been dyed yellow: furniture, displays, signature box, bags of all sizes available in the store. To make the shopping experience “TASTY”, the precious brand also added a refreshment corner called Yellow Diamond Café, where customers could sip milk with ginger and turmeric, a very fresh lemon soda or taste an excellent honey ice cream (all strictly yellow) and not over here !! #TiffanyYellow has also included a photo booth to take home a Polaroid-format souvenir.
The brand has made the customer experience even more “BRILLIANT” by displaying beautiful (obviously) yellow diamonds.
Look but don’t touch (uff, what a pity!) Luck that Tiffany has thought of everything, with a virtual experience to try the jewels “digitally”.
And you? which color do you prefer? Let us know!
