Fendi, after an official announcement in 2020, has started its collaboration with the American artist Sarah Coleman for spring / summer 2021. What came out of it? A decidedly cheerful, colorful and irresistible capsule collection. In fact, if you are in the mood to give a touch of novelty to the season that has just arrived, this collection is ideal.
Sarah Coleman and Silvia Venturini Fendi, Fendi‘s artistic director of accessories and men’s fashion, collaborated together to create a new version of the FF logo. The result is FF Vertigo, now displayed through a psychedelic filter that offers a twisted version of the classic pattern.
A collection that includes bags, other accessories and garments for women, men and children. Dominated by yellow and blue colors, with references to the 70s and 90s. From the fabrics, to the colors, to the combinations, everything is so charming and captivating and everything comes to life with the new logo, from cargo pants to camping tents.
The FF Vertigo pattern appears on the most famous bags of the Italian maison: from the irresistible Peakaboo ISeeU in padded nappa, to the 1997 re-edition of the historic Baguette. If women’s looks blend sporty aesthetics with chic and feminine, featuring multi-pocket skirts, convertible jackets with hyper feminine bodies and draped tops that show the FF Vertigo motif, men’s clothing embraces life in the open air but with elegance with Bermuda pants, fishing vests, shiny raincoats and summer dresses. Children, on the other hand, can have fun with the ”Mini Me” coordinates.
But that is not all! There are also some limited edition items. Being exclusive, you know, they are also the most exciting. These are the vintage Polaroid 636, a Bento Box in collaboration with Alessi and a camping set.
A collection, this by Fendi, which manages to fully capture the energy of summer. It frees itself from the rigidity of the past to celebrate a fun and colorful future.
