“ICONS” is the name of the paper volume that documents the creative process behind the collaboration between Nike and Off-White.
Virgil Abloh aims to make the behind the scenes of fashion increasingly transparent and accessible, as we had seen with the creation of the dedicated instagram profile @off__white__seasons.
Now, the designer wants to immerse us in the artistic spirit behind his creations with the publication of a book in collaboration with Nike, entirely dedicated to the explanation of the creative processes underlying the “The Ten” line, one of the most influential sneakers collection of recent years.

The book is called “ICONS” and celebrates one of the greatest collaborations, that between Nike and Off-White, explaining in detail how some of the iconic sneakers have been reinvented, including the Air Jordan 1, Air Force 1 and the Air Max 90. Inside, the conversations and messages exchanged between Virgil Abloh and the Nike designers will also be published, as well as an unpublished photographic archive depicting the sneakers during the production process.
This book is a catalog of images that cannot be found on the internet. The beauty of books is just that.
“ICONS” will be released on January 22nd on SNKRS in North America and globally through Off-White and Canary Yellow sites, while a larger release will follow on February 5th on the Taschen site. The sale price is not yet known, but to find out more you can follow the official presentation live on the SNRKS app on January 15th.
