The designs of the two illustrators Emma Allegretti and Nourie Flayhan are the undisputed protagonists of the new Gucci Beauty Social Campaign.
During the lockdown, many artists gave vent to their creativity by creating works inspired by this period of isolation from the real world.
Emma Allegretti
Emma Alegretti, on IG @alegrettiregretti, is an Italian illustrator able to tell real stories of daily life through images.
The first series of drawings #stayathome tells the quarantine from the artist’s point of view.
There are those who do Yoga to keep themselves sane, who instead dance as if no one was watching (in this case it really is so), who instead reinvents makeup artist.
Emma’s message is very important: take care of yourself!
Why in a time like this neglect is very simple and what better excuse than to try the new Gucci products to feel beautiful again?
The mini video posted on the @guccibeauty profile has been realized with stop motion.
It tells of a girl who wants to be beautiful, but without any double purpose, except to rediscover her femininity in the mirror!

Nourie Flayhan
Nourie Flayhan, on IG @nouriflayhan, is an Arab artist, whose invented characters float in an abstract world as deeply realistic from the social point of view.
It is mainly other Arab women who inspire the drawings and, as she stated in an interview for Gucci, her goal is to give life to narratives that explain just what it means to be an Arab woman of color today.
In the illustrations made for Gucci Beauty, we see a group of friends who, forced to stay at home because of the health emergency, keep in touch waiting for the arrival of a day full of light.
Very symbolic, however, is the drawing that portrays a girl in underwear locked in a glass bowl, while she thinks of the famous ‘conjunct‘ and when they can kiss again.
In addition to the subjects created by the two artists, recurring in all the images the new products of the latest collection for makeup by Gucci – you can buy them HERE.
If you love beauty products, you can’t absolutely miss these 4 brands!
