The Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster, has presented a capsule collection with the k-pop star Jennie Kim, member of the BLACKPINK.
In occasion of the launch of “Jentle Home“, the brand has created a special pop-up store situated in the Garosugil neighborhood in Seoul, in front of the Gentle Monster flagship store.
Inspired by the singer’s childhood memories, the store’s tinged with pastel colors: the guests enter in a real dollhouse, with characters intent on carrying out daily actions, like cooking hamburgers, taking a bath or calling. The store presents also a secret room with a teddy bear fountain. Moreover, at the pop-up’s third floor, there’s a retrò supermarket which sells special products.
The capsule collection includes a range of frames, among which squared, oversized models, thin metallic circles with a minimal and retrò look, but also acetate classic slim fit in black or in turtle. To the eyewear selection, is also added a proposal of chains for glasses in maxi or thin silver and gold version.
The glasses, could only be sold in an original packaging that takes up the dollhouse theme.
The pop-up store is already visitable until 12th September 2020, while the collection is available on the Gentle Monster official website.
