The new sneakers who tastes like your favourite ice cream flavour

Artists, great ready-to-wear fashion houses, iconic or prominent personalities from the music scene collaborate and are now part of the big business that has been around the streetwear world for years, in particular the sneakers </ strong>.

We can easily guess that the best collaborations arise when two apparently different worlds manage to merge. The complete cohesion of the characteristics belonging to each brand make a successful and fruitful collaboration.

Without taking anything away from the myth of the collaborations with Kanye West and Travis Scott , the Nike brand has perfectly understood that the more you move away from your landscape and from your target, you have the possibility to create inimitable collaborations, with a strong visual and conceptual impact .

So Nike’s mustache turns into a banana ice cream that seems to run on the sneakers entitled SB Dunk Low “Chunky Dunky” , the result of the collaboration between Nike and Ben & amp; Jerry’s , a famous brand producing ice cream , which has become an integral part of the American gastronomic imaginary.

The name of the sneakers announces the fun , colorful and childish aesthetic of the new sneakers.

The inspiration comes from the classic taste “ Chunky Monkey </ em > ”by Ben & amp; Jerry’s: a mix of banana, dark chocolate and walnuts, ingredients whose colors have been carried on the leather upper of the Nike Dunk Low SB . Yellow whisker and suede inserts of synthetic fur alternate the dark brown of dark chocolate with the lighter one of the walnut taste.

The rest of the nuances are reminiscent of the typical Ben & amp; Jerry’s, with a mix of blue and green. The interior is lined in a multicolor fabric, a psychedelic rainbow that can be seen from the inside of the tongue and from the upper edges of the upper. On the rubber sole, fiordilatte and mint flavors are ready to board a skateboard .

Completely different but not necessarily opposite worlds create something unconventional , perhaps unconventional . Ironic and perfect for those looking for an original and creative product.
