After the success of the Type O-2 sneaker, revealing the collaboration to the silhouette of the Type O-3 boot during the Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2019.
A return that recalls the grunge scene of the early 90s and takes a look into the world of mountaineering, where we find that contrast between precision and rebellion, between luxury and technical innovation.
In line with the vision of Luke Meier, creative director of OAMC, the Type O-3 collection is made using the sole of the iconic Adidas GSG9 trekking silhouette while the upper part of the boot is covered in soft leather and the upper is wrapped in a functional lacing system. The logos in honor of both brands stand out on the heel.
Yet another collaboration that shows that in fashion as well as in music, the avant-garde and mainstream culture often dialogue while remaining two separate entities.
OAMC is the present, Adidas is a reminder of the past (logo used for the first time in 1972) but together they are the perfect balance of different aesthetics at the service of streetwear.
The OAMC x adidas Originals Type O-3 will be available from November 7, in 3 different colors, on the official website of Adidas and OAMC (where you can buy an exclusive coloring).
