adidas Originals introduces the Hi-Res Aqua X-Model pack

adidas Originals is proud to present Hi-Res Aqua X-Model, a pack that pays tribute to the brand and its wide range of innovations by reinterpreting five historic sneakers: Torsion X, Nite Jogger, OZWEEGO, ZX Torsion and LXCON.

With the launch of the Hi-Res Aqua X-Model pack proposed by adidas Originals, the evolution of streetwear touches new tips by concentrating technology, functionality and design in a single shoe.

All models feature a semi-transparent upper made of various materials, such as ripstop, mesh or suede. In addition, the technology that distinguishes each silhouette is indicated by a striking print on the upper, which stands out thanks to the skillful use of color-block.

In the Hi-Res Aqua X-Model pack, the Torsion X model takes up the retro-tech style of the Torsion System and adapts it to today’s needs, as confirmed by the “TORSION” print in large letters on the side. Thanks to the highly reactive Boost midsole, the structure not only transmits stability, but also energy to the foot.

Pioneer of jogging, the new Nite Joggers remain faithful to their origins but with the addition of the Boost cushioning system, to enhance the return of energy with every step. The “Boost” print stands out along the side of the upper.

The OZWEEGO archive model is renewed to adapt to today’s runners, as evidenced by the “adiPRENE” print on the side: the cushioning system inserted in the forefoot and in the heel supports the run better.

The ZX Trainer, which in the 80s with its debut revolutionized the world of running, is characterized by a highly reactive Boost midsole and an X-shape Torsion Bar and a side print with “Torsion” writing.

Finally, the light and super-soft upper in nylon, suede and mesh by LXCON speaks a high-tech language, offset by the three strips and the shaped EVA midsole reminiscent of the original 1995 model.
