About a year ago, we told you about the story of Prosac Alwaysmile. A brand of accessories made with much love and care, based in Foligno, Umbria.
Two guys, so much heart and an infinite passion for details. They started off some hand-made papillons with carefully searched and carefully selected fabrics. They flooded the range. A step at a time. They pushed Social as if there was no tomorrow. They have done cautious and quality communication, with beautiful shots that have valued products that are already sought after.
Today, starting with a collection of 10 bowties, Prosac is one of the most original Italian accessories brands on the market, and also highly sought after overseas where there are so many reference stores and numerous agents from Japan to Germany. And the collection ranges from papillon, scarves, braces, scarves, leather accessories such as belts, bags and wallets. And as if it were not enough now, it’s also widening with a collection of clothing. They started off a beautiful patchworked vest capsule you see in these photos.
So many new things are coming…so we decided to interview Leonardo Agostini and Marta Ceccarini brand founder, to let us know what we must espect for the future.
Good morning guys, I know there are a lot of news and for this reason we decided to contact you directly to let us know!
Let’s start from the collection. I’ve seen that you have expanded the range: not just accessories, but also clothing: the collection of vest has greatly expanded. Are there any other news?
Tell us the most important novelties and the line evolutions, those that are already available and those coming in!
From the merchandise point of view our project is constantly evolving.
We are expanding the wide range of accessories and this summer we have already expanded our offer by introducing new models of suspenders and accessories made of vegetabel tanned leather, two product categories that have gained tremendous success.
From this beautiful winter look, we do not want to detect many details, we can only anticipate that cashmere will be the protagonist of a new line of accessories and jerseys.
Also look at Japanese denim, organic cotton and innovative and experimental organic materials …
We are expanding our collection of waistcoat but in December we will also present other clothing items thanks to the collaboration with other brands and craftsmanship and local tailoring.
We are developing a coherent line of both conceptual and stylistic approaches, following our high quality standards and focusing on total respect for the environment in the name of a new, eco-sustainable craftsmanship.
I know that you are slowly getting to know even internationally. Tell us about the fairs you’ve been attending, we want feedback!
Yes, we have had the opportunity to participate in several international fairs, for the time being we focused on the German market and at Premium Berlin we got amazing results. This is a super organized show where brands can enjoy the best services, and the influx of European and international buyers is the flagship of the event.
The fair is attended by people in the specialized industry, who are really interested in collections and exhibitor brands.
Every year a positive atmosphere is filled with enthusiasm and passion.
At this moment there are many international fairs and after participating as exhibitors at the Ny Coterie, the Supreme Dusseldorf and the Supreme Munich we are assessing which are the best events for our brand.
Here too, careful research must be done to choose the most appropriate events for your style, target, and business strategies.
So would you recommend attending these fairs to other young italian brands?
Yes, I recommend young Italian brands to do a careful search at international fairs, then select the most appropriate one to build a commercial plan over the medium to long term.
Not just one season to enter the market, people want to see you in every edition, it’s as if it were a guarantee of the soundness and professionalism of your project.
If the first fairs go wrong or not well in terms of orders, do not give up! 🙂
How are you doing internationally? What are the foreign countries where you are most accustomed? Do you have representatives in other countries?
At international level, we are moving through trade fairs, using them to build new contacts and create a distribution network in the different territories. We are getting great success in Canada, Germany, Japan, Switzerland. We always try to find an agent or a local distributor. Here too the secret is to find the right person for your brand.
When you start working abroad, the logistics and shipment structure is also enhanced and improved to meet customer needs and timelines.
With some countries you can not afford to miss, and this is also a great challenge to pick 🙂
Corridor news came to my ear … apparently in December you will open in your home town, Foligno, your first official store, that if I’m not mistaken it will be also office and showroom. In short, an important step in the story of Prosac. Give us some preview of the project!
Well, in December we will be ready with the opening of our space.
It will be a creative workshop, a showroom, a shop, a place where you can create events, organize exhibitions of all kinds, a very European, young and dynamic space where fashion, art, photography and music will unite in the sole purpose of sharing ideas, experiences and emotions. I can only anticipate that the room will develop on two floors and that, given the term, it will be a real cool one!
Soon the countdown will start but our intent is to make you a real surprise, we will not give any anticipations until the date of the opening … 🙂
Come and find us and you will see … everything is still unofficial, but we are probably talking about the first week of December 🙂
NEVER STOP!
