After the announcement of Jeremy Scott to Moschino, that we talked about here, Louis Vuitton has confirmed that Nicolas Ghesquière take the place of Marc Jacobs as creative director of the company. The news has been confirmed through the official Twitter account of the house after months of rumors and speculation. Prior to this assignment, Ghesquiere had been for years at the helm of Balenciaga, where he had great success thanks to exclusive garments and accessories that became true must-have. His new role will see him push the Louis Vuitton brand image towards a more luxury, in accordance with the will of the group LVHM to raise prices and align the mark on the level of colleagues/rivals of Hermès.
