For the 6 MONCLER 1017 ALYX 9SM collaboration, Matthew Williams focuses on a neutral color palette such as white, beige and black.
The collection is mainly composed of padded and non-padded outerwear that feature plays of light thanks to the alternation of opaque and glossy.
Parka, cropped blousons, trench with zip, coats, elegant trousers and leggings are the items presented by the 1017 ALYX 9SM designer for the collaboration with Moncler Genius;
Matthew Williams uses recycled nylon laqué, Econyl and innovative techniques such as the creation of a jacket embellished with Swarovski crystals.
There is a distinctly organic sensation, new to the world of performance outerwear.
“Working with Moncler means making extensive use of technology, applying it to luxury garments that must first and foremost be wearable. I reread these principles through my canons, creating a mix of the respective identities” says the designer of the well-known avant-garde brand.
