The 1017 ALYX 9SM designer, Matthew Williams has just unveiled a second collaboration with Nike at the Paris Fashion Week.
This time the inspiration comes from the combination of nature and technology. “For this collection, we used computational algorithms to create an exclusive camouflage pattern,” Williams said, adding that the new print is traditionally derived from nature, but “reveals things that are not normally seen“.
Featuring a range of multi-functional items with Sherpa fleece, two-in-one trousers, practical waistcoats and removable hoods, the collection is retailed at around $ 25 USD and $ 460 USD.
But that is not all. The flagship is instead the new sneaker that boasts a plastic shell on a trail runner silhouette and has a range of customizable details. Using a sturdy Vibram sole, the shoe is durable yet elegant and finished with a white Swoosh and thin strings.
